Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Non-Traditional Media Planner & Buyer to strategize, negotiate, and execute innovative media campaigns across non-traditional platforms including transit media, ambient media, in-cinema branding, mall branding, airport branding, and other experiential formats.
Role requires a strong understanding of unconventional media opportunities, vendor ecosystems, and effective brand integrations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan, buy, and execute non-traditional media campaigns for both new and existing clients.
- Create detailed media plans aligned with client objectives (brand awareness, recall, engagement, etc.).
- Maintain flowcharts, buying guidelines, budget summaries, campaign calendars, and competitive reports.
- Coordinate day-to-day campaign implementation, optimization, and performance tracking.
- Develop innovative media strategies that leverage unconventional formats to enhance client brand presence.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand client briefs and develop bespoke media solutions.
- Identify new and emerging non-traditional media formats and evaluate their potential for client campaigns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and media owners across India.
- Conduct timely market research to understand audience behavior and media consumption trends in non-traditional media formats.
- Ensure timely and efficient execution of campaigns, including vendor coordination, approvals, billing, and reporting.
- Monitor media performance and generate post-campaign reports with insights and learnings.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure accurate implementation on-ground.
- Support business development efforts with innovative media ideas and pitch support.
Key skills required
- Proven experience in Non-Traditional Media Planning, Buying & Execution (Transit, Ambient, Cinema, Mall, etc.).
- Strong understanding of unconventional media platforms and brand integration opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and vendor coordination.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail with organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on results and campaign performance.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and planning tools.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Self-motivated with a passion for executing innovative ad campaigns.
